Walking in the beautiful Leicestershire and Rutland countryside is one of the joys of a visit to Launde Abbey. The rolling hills and gorgeous country lanes around the Abbey offer rich deciduous woodland, wildflowers, a dizzying variety of birds and animal life, ancient churches, and glorious hilltop views. Make sure you pack your boots before you come …
Of course, you’ll want to plan your walk to finish at the Abbey in time for one of our delicious cream teas – or maybe even timing your day to take in lunch or dinner!
You can download details of five local walks (of varying lengths, to suit all tastes and abilities) from this page – or simply pick up details from our Reception when you visit.
