Still before Christmas 2021

6th December 2021, 4:00 pm to 9th December 2021, 2:00 pm

£375

As our first Christmas since lockdown draws near we take the opportunity to gather together around the Bethlehem manger, rejoicing to hear again the ancient story which stands at the heart of our contemporary faith.

During this retreat, led by Launde’s Deputy Warden Chris Webb, we’ll follow the stories of different characters in Luke’s narrative of the incarnation, while offering space for quiet, prayer, meditation and rest. You’ll also have the chance to share with others in enjoying Launde’s warm hospitality and the beauty of the surrounding countryside.

Revd Chris Webb

Chris Webb, Deputy Warden of Launde Abbey and Diocesan Spirituality Adviser, is an Anglican priest who has ministered as president of a spiritual formation ministry in the USA, as a parish priest in Wales and in a church for the homeless. He is the author of two books: The Fire of the Word (2011) and God-Soaked Life (2017).

We want all our guests to be safe and secure when visiting Launde during the current public health situation. For details of our comprehensive Keeping You Safe programme click here.

Early bird price: £355 if booked before 31 August 2021.
