Epiphany Retreat

7th January 2022, 4:00 pm to 9th January 2022, 2:00 pm

£270

Revd Alison Myers

At Christmas we declare Jesus to be the light that shines in the darkness. But it is the stories of Jesus traditionally read through January, in the season of Epiphany, that start to unpack what that might look like. In this darkest season of the year, we will reflect on the Light revealed both in these stories and in our stories, and explore what God’s Spirit might be saying to each of us through them as 2022 begins.

Alison Myers is the new warden of Launde Abbey. Most recently a Team Rector in rural ministry in Cambridgeshire, she has crafted and led many reflective services and gatherings using spoken word, music, silence and creative prayer stations. She is also an experienced workshop leader and mentor, combining spirituality and theology with the practical challenges of leadership, team-working and managing change, informed by her working life before she was ordained as well as theological study and lifelong faith. She loves praying outdoors, a good cup of coffee, noticing the cycle of the seasons and encouraging a wondering faith. She lives with her family onsite at Launde Abbey.

Early bird price: £250 if booked before 30th November 2021. Full price £270.

We want all our guests to be safe and secure while Covid remains a concern. For details of our comprehensive Keeping You Safe programme click here.
