August Quiet Day: Sensing the Divine

We are flesh and blood, and meet God in the stuff of life, in words and scents, in sights and sounds, through people and events. During the day, we will consider what it means to be attentive to the presence of God and to search for God where there is only absence.

Adrian is an Anglican priest who has worked in Trinidad, England and South Africa. Most recently, he was on the staff of Ridley Hall Cambridge. There he led the Simeon Centre for Prayer and the Spiritual Life and served as an academic tutor. Since then, he has retired to Ilkeston, where he and Jill love being near wonderful Derbyshire countryside, and enjoy family, hill walking and photography.
