In this quiet day we will explore the motif of ‘power made perfect in weakness’ from 2 Corinthians 12 :9. Exploring the image of treasure in clay jars, from 2 Corinthians 4, we will reflect on the treasures of God which we so often find in the unexpected places of weakness or failure in our lives. This will be a day to encourage and inspire you in your life with God.

Helen Newman is Chaplain at Launde Abbey. She came to Launde in March 2017 with her husband, David who is the Warden. Before that she was Chaplain at LOROS, a renowned hospice in Leicestershire. She has led many retreats and quiet days at Launde Abbey over recent years and is now an established member of the Community.

We want all our guests to be safe and secure when visiting Launde during the current public health situation. For details of our comprehensive Keeping You Safe programme click here.

Yes, I’d like to be placed on the waiting list for this fully booked Quiet Day.
