Quiet Day: Creative Hearts
1st April, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm£35
Join us for an experiential day of exploring quiet, hand stitched prayer with Karen Herrick where you will be encouraged and supported to draw closer to God through creativity and reflection.
The Bible has much to say about our hearts and the heart of God for His people. What is it that your heart most desires? What is it that the Lord requires of our hearts?
Karen will guide you into reflection and encourage prayerful creativity through stitch and the exploration of colourful textiles, textures and threads. Using an array of layered fabrics, buttons and beads, we will use the heart motif to individually explore that God may want to say to each one of our hearts. We will use colourful fabrics and textures to pray for ourselves, others, or a situation in the world that weighs on our heart.
The cost of this Quiet Day will include all materials, so you only need to bring yourself.
