Quiet Day: The Grace of Waiting
2nd September, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm£35
In our culture of frenetic activity and busyness, the experience of waiting can cause huge frustration. In this quiet day Helen Newman helps us consider how times of waiting can be important and fruitful times for us spiritually. Waiting patiently means paying attention to what is happening right in front of us and finding the loving presence of God.
Helen is Chaplain to Launde Abbey and speaks from many years’ experience as a hospice Chaplain, Spiritual Director, mother and grandmother.
