April Quiet Day: Praying with icons in Passiontide
4th April, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm£36
We’ll begin this quiet day together by reflecting generally on the use of icons and other images as a means for prayer. As we enter Passiontide, our focus will then turn specifically to icons of Christ’s entry into Jerusalem and the Crucifixion.
The Revd Catherine Lomas is a parish priest and pioneer in the Diocese of Peterborough. Her particular interest is in the use of visual means to explore faith and spirituality. She is currently training as an iconographer.
Yes – I’d like to take part in this Quiet Day!
