DESCRIPTION:How do we encounter God today when our lives are often full of activity and noise? How do we find the space\, time and quiet to pay attention to the God who is within and around us so that we can hear what God is saying to us? \n\n\n\nJesus was always on the move. The day will reflect on the Gospel stories where Jesus’ encountered many people. We will explore how we can be still\, enter into silence and be more attentive to the presence of God as our constant companion who holds us with whatever it is we are facing. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAdele Barker is an ordained Anglican minister serving in the Diocese of Derby. She is passionate about helping others deepen their spiritual life and works on the Derby Diocese Spirituality Group\, is a member of the team for the Art of Spiritual Accompaniment Course and as a spiritual director enjoys accompanying others on their spiritual journeys.
