The Sound of Musings
Spend an encouraging and inspiring retreat with Maria the ‘flibbertigibbet’ nun turned governess as she discovers the life she was born to live. Prompted by the songs, characters and stories from 'The Sound of Music', Bryony Wood will lead us on our own journey of faith – it will be biblical, authentic and quite a lot of fun. We will probably even make our own sounds of music too!
June Quiet Day: “How then should we pray, Mary Oliver?”
June Quiet Day: “How then should we pray, Mary Oliver?”
In her poem 'Sometimes', Mary Oliver provides "Instructions for Living a Life". These are: Pay Attention. Be astonished. Tell about it. This Quiet day will be led by Revd David Harknett, one of our College of Chaplains here at Launde Abbey.

Contemplative and Charismatic: A Rooted and Grounded Retreat
In this Rooted and Grounded retreat we’ll be taking time to explore these two streams in depth. As always, we'll tap into the rich wisdom and experience of a wide variety of thinkers and practitioners, past and present. We’ll take time to find rest and refreshment in prayer, worship, silence and rest. And we’ll explore a wide range of spiritual practices you can take away with you to deepen your life of faith. Led by Launde Abbey and Renovaré.

Adrift in Delight: A Contemplative Intensive
We’re offering this retreat at a reduced price due to short notice.
A quiet space has become available in the rhythm of life at Launde Abbey, and we felt called to offer a contemplative intensive retreat in this space — to provide those who practise contemplation the time and space to deepen their practise (whether centring prayer, Christian meditation, mindfulness or some other approach). We hope it will be a blessing to those who need time to rest, reflect, and be still with God.
Led by our Deputy Warden, Revd Chris Webb.
