“A balanced life – I wish!” If that’s your reaction, this Advent retreat offers an invitation to draw aside, rest and reflect. Using the season of Advent as a time of preparation, Rev. Andrew Hall explores what it means to welcome God’s love more deeply into our lives and to reimagine the rhythms of daily life with God.

Explore the timeless wisdom of St Benedict in this Quiet Day led by Revd Catherine Wright. Through guided reflections, you’ll consider themes of community, balance, work and prayer, with plenty of space for silence, personal prayer and quiet reflection in the peaceful surroundings of Launde Abbey.

The aim of this semi-silent retreat weekend is to help you enter the world of silent retreats gently and with plenty of support. There will be guidance on how to use the time; periods on your own and with the other retreatants, and the opportunity to share your experience with others if you wish to do so. Led by members of the Launde Abbey Community.
Take a couple of hours, put on your coat and boots and explore and experience God’s creation. This is an opportunity to stop, look and listen. Using all your senses to know and understand more about our Everlasting Father and Creator God. Led by Jo De Graaf.
Would you like to join the Launde Abbey Community in our Chapel to observe Ash Wednesday? This day of reflection marks the beginning of Lent, inviting us into a time of prayer, self-reflection, repentance and renewal.

Stay and pray as part of the Launde Abbey Community during Holy Week.
