Each cosy room affords pleasant vistas across the gardens and surrounding parkland. Make yourself feel at home by relaxing in the Lounge or studying in the Library which is open to our residents to use. Our Gallery is a welcoming and social space equipped with an honesty bar where you can help yourself to a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic, hot and cold beverages. Launde Abbey is beautiful at any time of the year, so during your stay with us please do feel free to wander in the grounds.
Whilst there are almost always retreats and activities happening in the Abbey, it very much remains a place of prayer and worship, offering you ‘space’ to receive God’s peace and blessing.
We have three Chapels at Launde Abbey, all of which you are welcome to use for private worship and prayer during your stay.
All guests are invited to join our daily prayer services and clear directions are provided for those unfamiliar with the Anglican liturgical tradition.
