Each of the 39 ensuite bedrooms we have onsite is equipped with all of the amenities to make your stay with us a comfortable and relaxing one. Situated across the Main House and Stables Block there is a range of single, double and twin rooms to suit the varying needs of our guests. The Tudor Manor House is the setting for 19 of the bedrooms, 10 of these are of a larger size and so regarded as our Character Rooms. The remaining cosy Simple Rooms are shared between the Main House and Stables Block.
We have spacious accessible bedrooms with ensuite wet rooms on the ground floor of the Stables Block.
Our Hermitage (also referred to as the Oxford & Cambridge) is a separate dwelling within the grounds, neighbouring the Victorian Walled Garden. Available for hire, it is equipped for self-catered accommodation and is a perfect hideaway for those looking for ultimate seclusion.
Character Rooms
Situated mainly in the Main House, our superb Character Rooms combine spaciousness and tranquillity. Room options include single, double and twin, with each offering the comfort of ensuite and tea and coffee-making facilities. No matter which room you are in, you will be greeted with stunning views across the gardens and parkland.

simple rooms
Affording ample space and comfort our Simple rooms are so named simply because they are smaller in size than our Character suites. Despite this, our Simple rooms come with all of the amenities including an ensuite bathroom or wet room and tea and coffee-making facilities. As with all rooms throughout the Abbey, the aspects from the Simple Rooms across the parklands are stunning.

Accessible Rooms
Launde Abbey offers dedicated disability-friendly bedrooms to accommodate guests with mobility needs. Our accessible rooms are tailored to make the stay of our guests as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Each accessible room is equipped with wet rooms, pull cord alarms and pillow alarm aids for the hard of hearing.
Please discuss any particular needs with us before booking and we will endeavour to make your stay as comfortable as possible. For more information on how the Abbey is equipped, visit our accessibility page.
