GOD in the EVERYDAY

God promises always to be with us, wherever we go. This means we are always being held by God; held in his presence and enjoying his provision. God celebrates with us, laments with us, and walks with us through suffering. We will spend time together, and individually, reflecting on being held by God in the various ups and downs of every day life. The bible is full of stories of God being with, and providing for, people in all kinds of circumstances. We will engage with some of these stories through listening, silence and prayer (and some optional creativity), as we seek to discover more of God’s abiding presence and provision with and for us today. 

This Quiet Day will now be led by the Revd Catherine Wright, a member of the College of Chaplains at Launde Abbey.

Unfortunately, Revd Caroline Throup, who was originally due to lead the retreat, is now no longer able.

Quiet Day price: £46 includes lunch and coffee and tea throughout the day.
