We’re delighted that retreat leader Revd John Rackley, one of our college of chaplains, will be leading the April Quiet Day, should you wish to book onto that.
This retreat will offer a Lenten journey sharing our humanity with the promise of living in God’s new world with Jesus, the forerunner of the new creation.

Michael Mayne
In a series of reflections, John Rackley will consider these words of Michael Mayne, which help us consider our priorities and receive the assurance of God’s eternal love. We need to accept our dustiness but we are more than dust that will return to dust. Jesus discovered his vocation in the testing struggles of the wilderness. We can learn from him and join his community of prayer and hope.
John is a member of the Launde Community, specialising in exploring the spiritual directions of our lives. The retreat will be a quiet affair with workshops on the Practice of Stillness.
It is for people who wish to spend time with Christ in the Wilderness, need to stand back from the expectations that are placed on them and are ready to discover God’s invitation to become dust that shines!
