March Quiet Day: Holy Week – ‘Path of Glory’ ***FULLY BOOKED***
£46
Monday 30th March @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
The pattern of Christ’s death and resurrection is found all around us, in nature and in our own spiritual growth. The path to glory travels through the cross, and God can bring renewal out of brokenness through healing. Even if we believe this, we often find it hard to truly surrender ourselves to following in the footsteps of Christ. Join us at the start of Holy Week to observe and reflect on responses to Christ’s passion in those who walked with Jesus and in ourselves.
“Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” John 12:24
Led by Revd Anna Walker

The Revd Anna Walker is the new Deputy Warden of Launde Abbey and a spiritual director. She grew up in the Finnish Lutheran Church and trained for ministry in Helsinki, later moving to the UK with her husband, whom she met while spending time at the Taizé community in France. They have two children together and have shared a longstanding commitment to community life and retreat ministry. Anna trained for ordination at Lancaster Priory, served her curacy in Preston, and was previously Director of Whalley Abbey. She has a deep passion for spiritual direction and is drawn to seek God in silence, simplicity and creation. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, reading, journaling, and spending time outdoors.
Quiet Day price: £46 includes lunch and coffee and tea throughout the day.
