Ash Wednesday

Would you like to join the Launde Abbey Community in our Chapel to observe Ash Wednesday? This day of reflection marks the beginning of Lent, inviting us into a time of prayer, self-reflection, repentance and renewal.
Each service will include the traditional ashing, a powerful symbol of our journey towards Easter.
Service Times:
- 8:00 AM – Eucharist
- 12:00 PM – Midday Prayers
- 5:00 PM – Evening Prayers
If you are not a resident at the Abbey but would like to join our 8:00 AM Eucharist service, please inform our Reception at 01572 717254 or email [email protected], as this is outside our usual opening hours and a member of the team will need to be on-hand to let you into the Main House.

Did you know you can join the Abbey community as a Day Guest? Prices start from £20.00 for the day, and you can choose from a range of options to tailor your stay with us.
Our café is open from 10:00 am – 4:30 pm, should you wish to have lunch or refreshments during your time with us.
