How to live well in a busy world
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Focussing on verses 28 and 29 from Matthew chapter 11, we will explore what it means to ‘yoke’ our lives to Jesus. To develop healthy rhythms as we seek to live out our lives of faith. To understand the importance of rest as well as action, and that adopting this balance is, in fact, biblical.
There will be time to listen, pray and reflect, with optional creative, reflective activities for those who find them helpful.
This Quiet Day will be led by the Revd Fran Grasham, our Resident Chaplain.
Quiet Day price: £46 includes lunch and coffee and tea throughout the day.
