A day set aside to catch our breath and infuse our life with the Holy Spirit’s gentle breeze.

Being overwhelmed is something we are all aware of and have probably all experienced. One thing I have noticed is that it is becoming a more frequent event in people’s lives.

Today we will consider, contemplate and begin to unpack this word; what it means and how it affects us.

In this non stop world how can we offer our overwhelmed selves to God, the author and perfector of our faith?

Rev. Andrew Hall is a Parish Priest, Rector of Burbage with Aston Flamville and IME2 officer for the Leicester Diocese. He is also a Spiritual director and Retreat leader, a contemplative soul, who likes gardening, reading and sports. “My heart is to be a ‘cure of souls’ as my priestly vocation implies, spending time with pilgrims is one of life’s greatest callings and I am honoured that God has called me to this life.”
