Labyrinth Retreat

During our time together, we will learn more about the fascinating history of labyrinths, their symbolism, spirituality and the many ways in which they are being used today. We will walk the labyrinth (both indoors and outside in the garden) with different intentions each day, and enjoy the tranquillity of a candlelit labyrinth walk after dark. Led by Nickie Fidgin.

Textiles Retreat: God Is Revealed – Through Strangers, Signs, and Sacraments ***FULLY BOOKED***

Join us at Launde Abbey for a creative and reflective retreat exploring the theme of God revealed – through strangers, signs, and sacraments. Together we’ll reflect on the season of Epiphany, finishing with the Presentation of Christ in the Temple. Our stitching will take inspiration from these ideas – perhaps stars, water, wine or camels.

The Sound of Musings

Spend an encouraging and inspiring retreat with Maria the ‘flibbertigibbet’ nun turned governess as she discovers the life she was born to live. Prompted by the songs, characters and stories from 'The Sound of Music', Bryony Wood will lead us on our own journey of faith – it will be biblical, authentic and quite a lot of fun. We will probably even make our own sounds of music too!
