    Woodworkers often speak of ‘working with the grain’ as they fashion wood into beautiful and useful items.

    On this quiet day, there will be the opportunity to explore what this might mean for yourself and for the communities that you are part of. We will be using Scripture, art and poetry to explore this theme. Led by Revd Catherine Wright.

    At this season of Candlemas, we spend time with the prayers of Simeon, who is confident to ‘be dismissed’ simply because ‘his eyes have seen” (Luke 2:29-32) and of Mary (Luke 1:38).
