    At this season of Candlemas, we spend time with the prayers of Simeon, who is confident to ‘be dismissed’ simply because ‘his eyes have seen” (Luke 2:29-32) and of Mary (Luke 1:38).     Join Launde Abbey’s Deputy Warden, Revd Anna Walker, for a day of baking and reflection. Under the expert guidance of Launde Abbey chef and patisserie baker, Helen, we will engage in the slow process of mixing, kneading, shaping and waiting, which models to us a beautiful rhythm for prayer and activity, reflection and mindful doing, and the outcome will be lovely fresh hot cross buns to taste and take home.
